St. John the Evangelist (Stamford)

Pentecost is a Christian holy day that celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit 40 days after Easter. Anglicans consider it the birthday of the Christian church and celebrate it as such.  Here at St. John’s we celebrated Pentecost by wearing Red and sharing birthday cake. Lots and lots of cake!  Thank you to everyone who attended and especially to those who donated cakes!
