“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.”
Psalm 100:1-2
Music has long been an important part of the life and worship of St. John’s. While we enjoy and celebrate many of the classic musical works of our tradition, we are also open to exploring a variety of musical styles and to embellishing our worship with new hymns, anthems, and carols.
Adult Choir
St. John’s Choir consists of a mixed-voice group of men and women who sing at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, at special concerts, and services. Membership is open to anyone who would like to use their voice in the worship of God.
Rehearsals: Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. (except during July & August)
Children’s Choir
Children in grades JK to grade 6 are welcome to join our Junior Choir. This choir rehearses on select Sundays following the 10:30 service. St. John’s Junior Choir performs at special times during the year such as Advent, Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving.
